BIORAS_SHRIMP at Aquafarm International Conference and Trade Show
We were part of the two-day exhibition and conference Aquafarm International conference and trade show on aquaculture, algaculture and fishing industry held in Pordenone, Italy (February 15 & 16, 2023)
The BIORAS_SHRIMP Consortium has been present with its Project Coordinator Vincenzo Zonno (VZ), University of Salento, and with Niccolò Bassi (NB), Principal Investigator at Biosyntex (IT).
VZ has been invited by the Event Organizers to take an Oral Communication in the framework of the Session “Technologies and Solutions for a more sustainable fish farming”, held on 16 February 2023, 14.00 – 1600, Hall 4 “Del Pesce”.
In his communication, taken in Italian, with simultaneous translation in English, VZ has presented the objectives of the project along with the planned activities, the Consortium composition, with Partner’s role, and the expected results at the end of the project. A particular emphasis has been dedicated to the dissemination and communication activities and to the human capacity buildings initiatives for the direct involvement of several stakeholders.
In this view, VZ informed the audience about the meeting that he had with the director of API (The Italian Farmers Association), Dr. Andrea Fabris. The Association has assured its attention to the project evolution and has ensured its commitment to inform all API Members about the dissemination and communication initiatives, including the technology transfer workshops and the training course.
VZ and NB have encountered several people near the poster area, where the BIORAS_SHRIMP poster, based on the project brochure, has been displayed.
